Clean rooms and bathrooms, easy access, friendly staff, great location near supermarkets and restaurants, convenient transportation routes. Iron, hairdryer, and kitchenette provided in rooms. a comfortable and affordable option for travelers looking to connect with others and make new friends.

The staff is very friendly and ready to help in every situation. the kitchen equipment is fresh and they even have two kitchens! Good price. Rooms are clean with super comfy beds. Bathrooms are nice and there are lockers in the rooms.

Great value for money, comfortable and well-equipped room. Convenient location near train station and motorways, opposite grocery stores. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Cary.

The food for breakfast could be improved with more variety/options.

The kitchen/dining area was amazing, with luxury appliances and a spacious dining table. The outdoor space, although weather didn't cooperate, had a cozy cabin and BBQ area. The bathrooms were large and high-end. The bunk beds had incredible mattresses. The location was convenient, near the train station and major motorways, with grocery stores just across the street. Everything was very clean and the staff, especially Cary, were friendly and helpful.

We had a blast exploring the city and checking out the local attractions. The fact that it was only 1.7 miles away from the GOP Variety Theater and 1.2 miles from the Aalto Theater made our vacation super convenient. And let me tell you, the evening entertainment at the accommodation was absolutely lit! We danced, laughed, and had the time of our lives. It was the perfect spot for young, fun-loving people like us.

If there's one tiny thing we could have asked for, it would be a bit more variety in the evening entertainment options. Don't get me wrong, what was there was fantastic, but as young party-goers, we're always looking for more options to keep the party going!

I recently stayed at Wohnzimmer-Essen for a few nights while visiting the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. The rooms were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were well-maintained and the hostel even had lockers in the rooms. The hostel also had two kitchens, which was a great convenience. Additionally, the location was convenient, with a Lidl and Aldi just across the street. it was a lovely hostel experience.

The property is just a short distance from the amazing GOP Variety Theater, which provided us with an incredible evening of entertainment. With its captivating shows and talented performers, it was an unforgettable experience for the whole family. We were enthralled by the magic and energy of the performances, and it was the perfect activity to enjoy together as a family. The proximity of the theater to the property made it convenient and added an extra level of excitement to our stay.

For dads, it would be great to have a small playground or outdoor area specifically designed for children.

I loved the vibrant and friendly atmosphere at the hostel. the staff was always available and smiling, creating a great vibe. the kitchen/dining area was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for storing and preparing food. Some of the bathrooms were large and spacious, providing ample room. the outdoor space, although weather-dependent, offered a nice place to unwind.

The lack of curtains in the dorms kept me awake at times.
